The Subsurface Observatory is a University of Melbourne geophysics infrastructure facility, funded by AuScope as part of Australia's National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS). We operate seismic networks, borehole instruments, and a petrophysics laboratory, and make the resulting data and capabilities openly available to researchers across Australia and internationally.
